We deliver 50 lb bags of Solar Salt Crystals to homes and businesses throughout Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, McLean, and Fulton Counties. Every bag is loaded directly into your brine tank. No hauling, no heavy lifting on your end. Schedule at least four days out.

Salt delivery is priced per bag with delivery included. We load every bag directly into your brine tank so there is nothing left for you to move or carry.
Customers outside the five-county delivery area who are also scheduling a service call may be able to combine salt delivery with that visit. Call us to discuss.

How to schedule
Online booking at booking.waterairandyou.com. Select salt delivery, choose your preferred date, and specify how many bags you need.
MVP Customer Portal at mvp.waterairandyou.com. Existing customers can schedule delivery directly through the portal.

Delivery requires at least 4 days advance notice. Same-day and next-day scheduling is not available for salt delivery.
About Solar Salt Crystals
Solar Salt Crystals are produced by evaporating sea water or brine in shallow ponds using solar energy and wind. The result is a high-purity salt with low insoluble content, which means less bridging and mushing in the brine tank over time. They dissolve cleanly and work effectively in most residential ion exchange softeners.
We stock Solar Salt Crystals in 50 lb bags. If your system has specific requirements for a different salt type, call us before scheduling and we can discuss what is available.
Salt usage depends on your water hardness, household size, and how often your softener regenerates. A typical household with moderate hardness might go through a 40 lb bag every three to four weeks. At 35+ GPG hardness, as found in Pekin and Creve Coeur, usage is higher. If you are not sure how much you need, order the four-bag minimum to start and we can help you dial in a delivery schedule based on how quickly you go through it.
Never let the brine tank run completely empty before a delivery. Keeping at least a quarter-tank of salt at all times prevents the softener from regenerating on unsoftened water.
